Satellite hitting the earth. Ya know, no big deal xD

According to NASA, over 1000 pounds of "space debris" is expected to actually make it THROUGH the atmosphere! Just thought I'd share that and give everyone a "Heads Up" (couldn't resist xD)

    Apparently debris the size of a school bus is supposed to land somewhere in Canada. Most of it would disintegrate as it passes the Earth's atmosphere, but pieces of it are expected to go through as you mentioned. I wonder what kind of compensation someone would get if it destroyed their property... free lunar trips?
